This team was formed with the goal to create a community-based web site.
Since these small, neighboring communities have such strong ties to the
potato industry, it was an easy choice for a theme. The team started officially
in June of 2003 to pull together materials, conduct interviews and visit
local industries. In July of 2003, the team traveled to Acadia University
in Nova Scotia to spend a week at the Acadia Institute for Teaching and
Technology. The teams learned valuable skills in web page design and technology
tools. The team left Acadia with a clear understanding of how to pull
these resources together. This is an on-going project, with monthly changes
and highlights.
