TATER ACT Tour with Mr. Herschel Smith

The team visited the farm and fields of Smith Farms, now operated by Herschel's son, Greg. A Day of History Ethan, Allisen, Tiffany & Shantelle spent the afternoon with retired grower, Herschel Smith, in Mars Hill, ME.	Broccoli Harvest in July, 2003 Smith Farms has diversified their operation to include broccoli - growing and packing and shipping. The team visited this field, which was being harvested, then visited the packing facility where the broccili was fresh packed in ice and put in freezers to await delivery to the market.
