Richard Kneeland
In July of 2003, part of the TATER ACT team visited the Aroostook State
Farm in Presque Isle and interviewed retired potato grower, Richard Kneeland.
Mr. Kneeland is currently serving in the Maine State Senate representing
District 2. Mr. Kneeland is a fourth generation farmer from Easton. Along
with potatoes, Mr. Kneeland also grew wheat, and was the first local grower
to have a storing shed. While the team was at the Aroostook State Farm,
we gained experience taking digital pictures of potato blossoms, mustard,
and vintage farm equipment.Richard Kneeland.
